DUSHANBE, October 2, 2008, Asia-Plus  — An International U-13 Tennis Tournament for Tajik President’s Cup will kick off at the Central Stadium in Dushanbe on October 4.

Ms. Nargis Nabiyeva, chairperson of the sports department within the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs, told Asia-Plus today that during five days, young tennis players from more than ten countries under the age of 13 will be competing for the prizes.  

The tournament has been held in Dushanbe since 2005 under support of Committee for Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism, the National Olympic Committee and Tajikistan’s Tennis Federation.
