DUSHANBE, November 25, 2008, Asia-Plus — A two-day meeting of experts from the CIS states is opening in Minsk, Belarus today to consider draft documents worked out by the council of the CIS migration service heads.  

Ms. Maria Gutsalo, a spokeswoman for the CIS Executive Committee, told Asia-Plus on Tuesday that the meeting would discuss the draft integrated plan of priority substances aimed at practical realization of principles of the declaration on the CIS concerted migration policy.    

The meeting is also planned to consider the issue of making amendments to the agreement on establishment of the council of the CIS migration service heads as well as changes made to the agreement on establishment of the consultative council for labor, migration and social protection of the population in the CIS states.
