KHUJAND, November 14, 2009, Asia-Plus — Two persons were killed and one other was injured last Thursday (November 12) as a car slammed into a parked tractor in Sughd’s Istaravshan district, according to the Sughd police directorate.
The accident took place near the Kommunizm (Communism) jamoat Jabborrasulov district. “The 22-year-old resident of the Jabborrasulov district Khurshed Isroilov apparently could not control his Nexia and slammed it into a parked tractor Samsung belonging to Chinese builders,” said the source.
As a result of the collision, Kurhsed Isroilov and his 24-year-old brother Dilshod Isroilov died on the spot, while another passenger, the 22-year-old Ravshan Eshboyev, sustained various injuries and was taken to the central district hospital in Istaravshan.
