DUSHANBE, February 23, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Unidentified persons have robbed an international staff member of the OSCE field office in Khujand, Sughd province, according to the Khujand police department.

The source at the Khujand police department said that they yesterday received an application from Mr. Tomas Holzer, an employee of the OSCE field office in Khujand, who is currently renting an apartment at the Ivanitsky Street in Khujand.  According to the application, unidentified persons penetrated into his apartment and stole 3,000, the source said.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted an investigation is under way.
