DUSHANBE, March 5, 2010, Asia-Plus  — A roundtable, Problems of Exercising Immigration Control at Airports and Railroad Stations in Tajikistan, took place in Dushanbe today.

Organized by the Interior Ministry Migration Service in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission to Tajikistan, the meeting brought together representatives from the ministries of justice, finance, foreign affairs and economic development and trade, as well as the Supreme Court, the Council of Justice, state committee for national security customs service, Dushanbe airport, Tajik Railways, IOM Dushanbe office, migration service and media.

The meeting participants discussed issues related to exercising administrative practice, tackling immigration control problems and stay of foreign citizens in Tajikistan, the source at the migrations service said.
