“We have achieved the goals of the Kurultai of Consent in Kyrgyzstan”, the President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev stated in the National Philharmonic Hall where the people’s forum took place on 24 March, 2010.

According to him, within two days we heard various opinions – both bad and good. “But there should not be offence, everything should be conceived objectively. I want to note that any speech will remain on paper, we shall take measures on every proposal”, Bakiyev said.

“Listening to participants, I came to a conclusion, – noted the President, – that people lack information about the work being conducted by the President, the Government, Zhogorku Kenesh. We should think over it. As you see, today all the government members have spoken in front of you and vented their opinions about what is happening in the country”.
