The CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha will arrive in Bishkek with a working visit on 29 March, 2010.

During his visit the head of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will meet with the KR President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, the state counselor for defense, security and law order Elmurza Satybaldiev, as well as with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kadyrbek Sarbaev and the head of Defense Department Bakytbek Kalyev.

Besides, Nikolai Bordyuzha will participate in a round table on the subject “The Collective Security Treaty Organization as stability and safety factor in the Central Asian region”. By the initiative of the CSTO secretariat the round table invited members of parliament, political analysts, experts and heads of profile state departments and CSTO institute representatives.

The participants of the discussion will consider prognoses and assessments of military and political situation development in the Central Asian region, will discuss prospects of improving the system of collective security in the Central Asian region as a whole and its possibility in ensuring national interests of the KR.
