DUSHANBE, April 19, 2010, Asia-Plus — The board of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) met on April 16 to review the results of implementation of the national budget in January-March this year and consider the tasks for the second quarter, the source at a MoF said.
The board meeting also considered amendments to the government’s resolution of December 31, 2008 on the number of public servants in local authorities as well as issues related to compliance of normative acts adopted by local authorities with the country’s legislation.
Finance Minister Safarali Najmiddinov demanded at the meeting that adequate measures should be taken to ensure well-timed implementation of the budget in the second quarter, the source said.
