DUSHANBE. June 1. “Asia-Plus” — The International Child Protection Day is celebrated today in Tajikistan. Festive events will take place in the Dushanbe Children’s Park. The event will be organized by the Dushanbe Khukumat.
The first part of the festival consists of the official part, a spokesperson for the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office Shavkat Saidov told the AP. Deputy Mayor Sanavbar Rahimova will congratulate children with the holiday. Following the official part there will be a concert and various charitable actions in which various organizations and creative teams will take part. Creative teams from various education institutions of Tajikistan’s capital will present their performances.
The second part of the festival will include various contests and competitions. According to Saidov, these events will include a concert and contest “Asbobohi zarbi” (musical instruments), contest of young painters on asphalt, chess tournament, exhibition of drawings under the motto “Water – source of life” and many other contests. Furthermore, young technicians will present their inventions. Winners will be awarded with prizes prepared by the Mayor’s Office.
In the frameworks of the festival schoolchildren will have an opportunity to meet with their favorite poets and writers.
