DUSHANBE, July 5, 2010, Asia-Plus — A meeting of senior representatives from the government, president’s office and relevant ministries and organization, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon took place in Dushanbe on July 3.

According to presidential press service, implementation of the national budget in the first six months of this year was a major topic of the meeting.  Minister of Finance Safarali Najmiddinov and heads of other relevant bodies reported on this subject.

Rahmon ordered heads of relevant ministries and organizations to develop a plan of actions to ensure an opportune replenishment of the revenue part of the budget and take measures to avoid delays in replenishment of the budget in the third quarter of this year.

The head of state also ordered to strengthen control of targeted use of budgetary means and ensure opportune payment of pensions and allowances in the public sector, presidential press service said.
