KULOB, July 9, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) is building the lyceum for gifted children in Kulob.

The source at the Kulob authorities says the NBT is restructuring a half-finished building into the lyceum.

According to him, it will be a good gift to the city.  “Local educational authorities are still forced to select several gifted children from each of 45 high schools in order to conduct additional lessons for them but this has not solved the problem,” the source added.

We will recall that on occasion of the 2,700th anniversary of the city Kulob the NBT built a guest house with an 800-seat banquet room in Kulob.
