DUSHANBE, June 25, 2012, Asia-Plus – The 21-year-old Muhammad Tillozoda, the son of the Islamic Revival Party (IRP) leader Muhiddin Kabiri, who is also deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), has been sentenced to pay a large fine for a fatal auto accident.

The trial of Muhammad Tillozoda, who was charged with traffic violation (Article 212 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code), began in a court at the Vahdat Township on June 22.

The Vahdat district court sentenced Muhammad Tillozoda to pay a 40,000 somoni fine on June 25.

We will recall that the 21-year-old Muhammad Tillozoda was detained in early May this year.  Muhammad Tillozoda reportedly hit the schoolboy on May 3 as driving a car in Vahdat.  The 12-year-old Muhsiddin Ortiqov died at hospital next day.

Muhammad Tillozoda is a student at one of universities in Malaysia.
