The main purpose of a two-day working visit is for the president to get acquainted with living conditions and measures taken to promote socioeconomic development of Gorno Badakhshan, the president’s official website says. 

During his stay in Khorog, President Rahmon is scheduled to hold meeting with regional administrators and meet residents of Khorog.
