DUSHANBE, March 12, 2013, Asia-Plus  — More than 150 Tajiks now live and work in Canada.

On Monday March 11, Safiallo Devonayev, Head of the Migration Service under the Government of Tajikistan, met here with Shah Ismatullah Habibi, Coordinator, Quebec Department for Immigration and Cultural Communities.

According to Tajik migration service agency, the sides discussed issues related to labor migration problems and recent trends in this field.

Tajik migration service agency head, in particular, noted that experiences of Turkey, Malaysia and the Philippines would be instructive.

Shah Ismatullah Habibi, for his part, noted that more than 150 Tajiks now live and work in Canada.

Immigration et Communautés culturelles Québec is a government department in the Canadian province of Quebec for immigration.  It provides a variety of programs for immigrants and immigrant communities in the province.
