DUSHANBE, June 24, 2013, Asia-Plus — Turkey’s VENDEKA Group intends to open its office in Tajikistan.

“Last week, the VENDEKA Group top manager Baki Kuran visited Dushanbe and met with senior representatives of Tajikistan’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and the State Committee on Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest) to discuss cooperation issues,” Subhon Qurbonov, representative of the Tajik Embassy in Ankara, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to him, VENDEKA Group, which is specialized in developing information and telecommunications technologies and equipment, offers its technologies in the field of IT-systems, which have already been used in energy and defense sectors of many countries of the world.

“Besides, the company successfully sells other products, including the surveillance camera systems used in detecting the traffic violation,” Qurbonov noted.

VENDEKA Group has reportedly begun negotiations with Innovative Road Solutions (IRS), which operates the toll on the Dushanbe-Chanak highway.

According to information posted on VENDEKA Group’s website, it develops and  manufactures ICT products and solutions, provides engineering, system integration, project management, project implementation, operation and maintenance services to enrich and to ease the lives of the customers and to improve their productivity and efficiency, by 5 companies within the group, for the last 18 years with more than 120 staff.  Vendeka Group Companies: Vendeka Information Technologies Ltd; Vendeka Defense Industry Inc; Vendeka Kosova Ltd; Venkom Telekom Ltd; and VenEnerji Ltd.
