Dushanbe. 19 August. “Asia-Plus” –  Eight Tajik citizens have been killed as a result of an automobile accident in the evening of 17 August in Ghanchi district of Soghd province.

A source in the traffic police of the Interior Ministry told “AP” that the Toyota Camry driver, Nourullah Buzmakov, lost control of the vehicle, and hit pedestrian – 29 year-old Kibriya Khalnazarova, and collided with an Opel, driven by Akmal Mansourov, on the 254th kilometer of Dushanbe-Khojand highway.

The source said: “Eight people have died as a result of the accident, among them are the passengers of both vehicles, the Opel driver, as well as the aforementioned pedestrian. Two people are hospitalized.”
