DUSHANBE, September 7, 2013, Asia-Plus – The Social-Democratic Party is going to decide on a single opposition candidate for president. Leader of SDPT, Rahmatilla Zayirov, told about this in an interview to Asia-Plus.
Mr. Zayirov said: “However, we will announce our decision to have a single presidential candidate and his name in our Party Congress, which will be held on 17 September in Dushanbe.”
SPD, as well as the Islamic Revival Party, declared that they may announce a single candidate from the Union of Reformist Forces. The IRP pre-election Congress is also scheduled for 17 September.
