DUSHANBE, November 13, 2013, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament endorsed the draft law on preschool education on November 13.

The law on preschool education has been drafted by a group of MPs and on his authors, Nourullo Oqilov, noted today that Belarusian specialists have examined the bill at the request of Tajik colleagues.

“In Belarus, the preschool education covers more than 98 percent of children, while in Tajikistan, preschool education today covers only some 10 percent of children; therefore, we have asked our Belarusian colleagues to examine our draft law,” Tajik MP said.

According to him, the law provides for various forms of education for preschool institutions, organization of their functioning and government’s support for them.
