DUSHANBE, November 30, 2013, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes at a November 30 government session.

Ms. Gulnora Hasanova, who had previously served as chairperson of Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) was appointed to head the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan, replacing Ms. Bakhtiya Muhammadiyeva.

Jamshed Norinov, formerly deputy governor of Sughd province, was appointed chairman of Amonatbonk.

Abduvali Komilov, who was the head of the Agency for Construction and Architecture under the Government of Tajikistan, was appointed the chairman of the Committee on Construction and Architecture under the Government of Tajikistan.

Homidjon Hasanov was appointed the director of the Agency for Land Management and Land Reclamation.  He had previously served as Deputy Minister of Land reclamation and Water Resources.

Rahmatullo Karimov was relieved of his post of Deputy Minister of Land Reclamation and Water Resources.

Ashourali Mirzoyev was appointed the deputy head of the Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan.
