Leader of the Social-Democratic Party, Rahmatilla Zayirov, who is also Shuhrat Qudratov’s lawyer, filed a complaint with the General Prosecutor’s Office over the investigator of the Anti-Corruption and Financial Control Agency, Umed Rahmanov, (with a copy to the Head of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Abdufattah Ghaib) for not graning access his client.
Rahmatilla Zayirov, Leader of the SDPT, told Asia-Plus that the Anti-Corruption Agency’s investigator, Umed Rahmanov, is promising Mr. Zayirov to give access for a meeting with his client for the past two weeks, but either does not answer phone calls, or says that he is on a business trip in the regions. “This is a gross violation of human rights, guaranteed by the Constitution,” the SDPT Leader says.
According to him, he can proof that the case against Qudratov on giving a bribe is devoid of any basis.
