DUSHABE, December 14, 2014, Asia-Plus – The Tajik language was included in Google’s online translation system on December 12 alongside Kazakh and Uzbek as well as seven African languages.

The US-based Internet giant has announced that multilinguals can now learn to say hello in 90 languages using Google Translate, after the company announced it added support for 10 new languages from Asia and Africa to its translation tool, with the help of contributors from the Translate Community.

Google says that the addition of these new languages will allow 200 million more users to translate text to and from their native languages. The languages are now live on Google Translate.

Instantaneous translation from Tajik into other languages — and vice-versa — is reportedly now available on computers and mobile devices.

According to a statement, users of Google Translate can help improve the quality of translations by adding their corrections and linguistic expertise online.

Google is a U.S. headquartered, multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products.
