DUSHANBE, April 18, 2015, Asia-Plus – On Friday April 17, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon attended a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of the communication services complex in Dushanbe.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the complex will consist of one 30-story building and two 25-story buildings that will house the Communication Services Agency, Tojiktelecom (Tajikistan”s fixed-line telecommunications network), Pochtai Tojik (Central Post Office) and other state-run and private structures operating in the field of telecommunications.

The first five floors of the buildings will house shopping centers and service centers, the president’s official website says.

600 local builders will be involved in construction of the buildings.  An estimated budget for this ambitions project is more than 630 million somoni and it is expected to be completed in three years.
