DUSHANBE, June 30, 2015, Asia-Plus — Tajik Hydromet notes that temperatures are expected to rise 7-12 degrees in Tajikistan in early July.

Dry and hot weather is reportedly expected in the country from July 1-5.

In the majority of districts, temperatures will rise 7-12 degrees and nighttime temperatures are expected to fluctuate from +24ºC to +29ºC in Khatlon province and from +21ºC to +26ºC in Sughd province and districts subordinate of the center.

Daytime temperatures will be from +40ºC to +45ºC in Khatlon province and from +38ºC to +43ºC in Sughd province and districts subordinate of the center.

In Shahritous, Qubodiyon, and Panj districts daytime temperatures are expected to fluctuate from +45ºC to +47ºC.

Hot weather will lead increase in water level in Vakhsh, Panj, Bartang, Varzob, and Zarafshon rivers.

Mudflows are expected in some mountain areas (Surkhob and Khingob rivers as well as upper reaches of the Panj).
