DUSHANBE, August 5, 2015, Asia-Plus – The 8th meeting of the Asian Folktale Art Committee has concluded in Dushanbe today with a protocol of agreement, according o the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan (MoC).

An official source at a MoC says the meeting brought together experts from the Republic of Korea, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The Committee members reportedly agreed to actively cooperate on organizing seminars on folktales and publishing illustrated books.

They also agreed to organize the Asian folktale art festival for the purpose of popularizing Asia’s rich and unique heritage.

The meeting participants reportedly welcomed the decision to hold Days of Central Asian Culture in South Korea in November this year.

The protocol of agreement was signed on the fourth and final day of the meeting in the Tajik capital.
