Dushanbe. 20 August. “Asia Plus” — On August 19 in the capital palace “Kohi Vahdat” Dushanbe mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev held an expanded working meeting with representatives from all segments of the people of the city, with the deputies of both chambers of the Tajik parliament, city Majlis, law-enforcement agencies, heads of large shopping centers, the capital mosques` imam- khatibs.

As said a source in the city administration, at the meeting attendees had the opportunity to speak about the problems of the city, the issues concerning the residents of the capital – the problem of industrial development, sanitation, roads repairing, provision of the population with drinking water.

The mayor paid his attention to the prevention of religious extremism, international terrorism and called for all the residents of the capital not to remain aloof from these issues and to show their civic duties.

Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev instructed the relevant state structures to put an end to the import and sale of cloths in Dushanbe that are strange to the Tajik people.

The Mayor instructed the head-masters of secondary schools in Dushanbe to improve the quality of students” knowledge, pay attention to the patriotic education of the younger generation.
