Dushanbe. 25 August. “Asia Plus” — As the Khatlon law enforcement source reported, the incident occurred even on 21of August at about 14:00 on the Zargar Bohtar Jamoat territory.

Dmitri Tolstoy – a serviceman of the 201st RMB, stationed in the Kurgan-Tube city, has inflicted numerous stab wounds to the 24-year-old Kurgan-Tube taxi driver Toir Sultonov.

Drivers, passing nearby the place of the incident, were able to render aid to the victim and took him to the regional hospital, as well as detained a Russian military officer until the arrival of the law enforcement officers.

According to the head of the intensive care unit of the regional hospital Faizali Dzhumaeva, Toir Sultonov arrived to the hospital in a grave condition with numerous injuries in the neck, head and arms. The wounded man was immediately operated, and two days later was transferred from intensive care unit to the general ward. However, his condition estimates by the doctors as poor.

In a short conversation with “Asia-Plus” Toir Sultonov told that he feels “normal”.

According to a source in law enforcement, RMB military Dmitri Tolstoy was arrested at the crime scene, the proceeding under article 110 of the Criminal Code was instituted against him. The criminal case was transferred for further investigation to the military prosecutor.
