DUSHANBE, October 2, 2015, Asia-Plus – First Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, Ashourbek Rasoulov, has been given time until November 15 to take preparations to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during autumn-winter 2015-2016.

According to the press center of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, Rasoulov reported on the measures taken by the municipal authorities to take adequate preparations for the winter at the third session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) that took place on October 1.

The deputy mayor, in particular, noted that enterprises subordinate to Barqi Tojik (national integrated power company of Tajikistan) had failed to take adequate preparations for the winter.

“To-date, the Dushnbe-1 combined heat and power (CHP) plan has purchased only 3,000 tons of fuel oil while it had to purchase 30,000 tons of fuel oil by September 21,” Rasoulov said, noting that repairs of some transformers and power transmission lines have not yet been completed.

Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev reportedly gave him time until November 15 to take adequate preparations to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during the upcoming autumn-winter period.
