DUSHANBE, August 10, 2016, Asia-Plus — Outgoing Italian Ambassador to Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent, Uzbekistan) Riccardo Manara conferred here Tuesday with Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov at the end of his tenure to Tajikistan.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy and a number of other issues being of mutual interest.
Aslov reportedly expressed gratitude to Ambassador Manara for his contribution to expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy and for his participation in the High-Level International Symposium on SDG 6 and Targets Ensuring that No One Is Left Behind in Access to Water and Sanitation on behalf of the Government of Italy.
