Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has ordered to provide vendors working with shops at the city’s bazaars with uniforms.

Their employers or they themselves will pay for the uniforms.

The uniform models will be designed by Dushanbe artists and designers and a special commission will be set up to select the best uniform model, an official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.

It is not the first initiative of the Dushanbe mayor on establishing order in the city’s service.

At his instruction the municipal transport service agency, Dushanbenaqliyotkhadamotrason, this year has selected uniform for drivers and conductors of public transport.

Drivers have reportedly paid for their uniforms 300 somoni each.
