President Emomali Rahmon has shaken up ambassadors and replaced the head of the Main Geology Directorate under the Government of Tajikistan. 

By president’s decree issued on August 7 Ismatullo Nasreddinov was relieved of his posts of Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Austria, Italy, Slovakia and Hungary (with residence in Vienna) as well as Tajikistan’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna (Austria).  Nasreddinov was reportedly relieved of his posts in connection with transfer to other job.  

Qalandar Idibek was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Austria.  

Khisrav Sohibzoda was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, replacing Ardahser Qodiri.

Zohir Saidov was relieved of his post of Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan and Georgia (with residence in Baku, Azerbaijan).

Rustam Soli was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Besides, Murod Jumazoda was relieved of his post of the head of the Main Geology Directorate under the Government of Tajikistan in connection with transfer to other job.      

Zarobiddin Fayzullozoda was appointed to head the Main Geology Directorate under the Government of Tajikistan.
