A children's playground was opened in the administrative center of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the city of Khorog. The children's facility was built by "Pamir Energy" in honor of its 15th anniversary.

The playground is built in the town of power engineers located on the territory of Khorog. As the director of the sales and marketing department Otmasho Khushkadamov said at the opening, the playground is a kind of a gift in honor of the 15th anniversary of the company's formation.

"It can be used not only by the children of our town, but all the children of the makhalla Chukhtkharag, where the Khorog HPP is located," Khushkadamov said.

According to him, the playground is built and equipped at the expense of the company.

The representative of the company also noted that this is not the first such event of the jubilee year for the company. A month ago, the company held a chess tournament for the "Pamir Energy Cup". The four winners of this tournament got the right and participated in the open international chess festival "Issykul – 2017".

"As part of the events in honor of the anniversary, two weeks ago festivals of youth and teenagers were held in the city of Khorog, Rushan and Ishkashim districts of GBAO. Their main goal was to instill in youth and adolescents, a careful attitude to the environment, energy sources, a healthy lifestyle, a serious attitude towards choosing a profession and mastering crafts,"  Khushkadamov specified.
