Days of Russian Culture opened in Dushanbe Sunday evening.      

“Alan” Folk Ensemble from the North Ossetia-Alania Republic and the “Moscow Conservatory Trio” are representing the Russian culture in Tajikistan.

The solemn opening of Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan took place at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Dushanbe.   

Russian performers are expected to give a concert at the Institute of Culture and Arts named after Mirzo Tursunzoda and the National Conservatory of Tajikistan.

They are also scheduled to meet with students and teachers at Russian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU) in Dushanbe. 

Besides, an exhibition dubbed “The Russian North” has opened at the Opera and Ballet Theater.

Meanwhile, a cultural and business delegation of St. Petersburg, led by vice-governor, Ms. Anna Mityanina, arrived in Dushanbe today on a three-day visit and the Mariinsky Opera soloists Victoria Ystrebova and Grigory Chernetsov are giving a concert at the Opera and Ballet Theater today evening.

A concert of the St. Petersburg vocal band “Feel’armonia” will be held in a concert hall of the Tajik Philharmonic Society in Dushanbe tomorrow.
