The State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) Tojikagroleasing has renewed its agro-technical fleet by purchasing more than 70 new tractors from Belarus and China, an official source at Tojikagroleasing told Asia-Plus in an interview.  

According to him, they will lease the tractors to farming units.  “These tractors are multifunctional vehicles and can be used to develop agricultural lands, orchards and vineyards,” the source added.  

In September, Tojikagroleasing purchased 10 harvesters, four cotton-pickers and 20 tractor trailers from Uzbekistan.  

Over the first eight months of this year, Tojikagroleasing has reportedly purchased about 100 new tractors of different models.   

Currently, machine and tractor stations operate in 54 cities and districts across the country. 

The State Unitary Enterprise (RSUE), Tojikagroleasing is a Tajik state-run agroleasing company).  It was established at the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) on November 30, 2007.  The national budget provided totaling 8 million somoni to the enterprise within the first five years.
