Major part of Tajik capital will be left without electricity for several hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply networks.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Dahana, Jangalak, Dashti Harzo, Navobod, Qarotegin, Bahori, Chanori Imom and Kamol neighborhoods  from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” said an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply networks.  “Electricity supply will also be cut off to Shevchenko, Nazarov, Qahhorov, Bukhoro, Sheroz, Turusnzoda, Sharq, Mehnat, Zahmatobod, Huseinzoda, Narziqulov, Academicians Rajabov, Titov, Savdo and Ulughbek streets.”

Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Yesenin, Fucik, Giprozem, Yusuf Vafo, Nakhimov, Lolazor, Balami and Matushenko streets as well as Krupskaya, Gulbutta, Somon, Furuzon, and Mehnatobod neighborhoods, the source added 

According to him, routine maintenance work will be carried out by turns on all power substations in the city until the beginning of the heating season.
