On August 26, Bokhtar Mayor Abdulmajid Muminzod handed over school uniforms, bags and other supplies to 50 orphaned and underprivileged students.

The mayor talked to these students and asked them to spend more time studying and playing sports.

"Schools have all the conditions for your studies, good teachers, textbooks, equipped classrooms. We have built playgrounds and sports grounds on almost all the streets. You just need to study and practice. We expect that in the future you will become good specialists and serve your homeland and people," Abdulmajid Muminzod said.

He noted that those who complete the school year with A's will also receive gifts from the city administration.

In addition, the mayor presented iPhone pads to 40 winners of national and international Olympiads, as well as school graduates who completed their studies with red certificates and gold medals.

Abdulmajid Muminzod stressed that Bokhtar is the administrative center of the region, and the city's schools have more opportunities than schools in other areas of the region.

"We are grateful to the leadership of the region's education system for the good results of the last academic year. But we have even greater potential and we must work to realize it," he said.
