Tajikistan is participating in the international tourism fair "Silk Road Tourism – 2025," held in Tashkent from November 27 to 29.

According to the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of Tajikistan, the event has brought together over 300 tourism companies from 30 countries. The official delegation from Tajikistan includes senior officials from the Committee, representatives of the country’s embassy in Uzbekistan, tourism associations, tour operators, sanatoriums and health resorts, the Union of Tajik Artisans, and international development partners.

The exhibition serves as a strategic platform for promoting national tourism services to the global market. The Tajikistan pavilion showcases the country’s competitive advantages, including its rich natural landscapes, prospects in medical and wellness tourism, eco-tourism routes, opportunities for sports and mountain tourism, as well as the unique cultural heritage of the Tajik people.

As part of the event, a tourism forum is being held, where the Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee, Jamshed Jumakhonzoda, delivered a presentation highlighting the country’s tourism potential.

In addition, meetings were held with representatives of tourism authorities from CIS countries and other partner states. Discussions focused on strengthening regional cooperation and establishing new mutually beneficial partnerships.

The Tajik delegation is also expected to sign a number of cooperation agreements during B2B meetings with foreign partners.
