DUSHANBE, August 7, 2008, Asia-Plus — A group of Iranian reporters, numbering 20 persons, is expected to arrive in Tajikistan at the end of this month.

According to the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe, the purpose of the visit is for the reporters to cover a progress of implementation of Iran-sponsored economic projects in Tajikistan. 

During their stay in Tajikistan, the Iranian reporters will visit the Tajik-Iranian joint venture TojIron, the site for construction of Iranian-built Sangtuda-2 hydroelectric power plant, Anzob tunnel, etc, the source at the Iranian embassy said. 

The Iranian journalists, representing a number of Iranian leading media, are also scheduled to hold meetings with their Tajik colleagues.
