DUSHANBE, December 14, 2014, Asia-Plus – The ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has included 28 candidates in the party list for election to Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament that will take place on March 1, 2015.

The 12th congress of the People’s Democratic Party that took place at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe on December 13 endorsed the list of candidates included in the party list (proportional representation) for the 2015 parliamentary election.        

The following members of the PDP were included in the party list:

  1. Mr. Abdujabbor Aziz, Presidential Adviser on Personnel Policy;
  2. Mr. Nizom Qosimpour, deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon;
  3. Ms. Khairiniso Yusufi, deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon;
  4. Ms. Bibidavalt Avzalshoyeva, deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon;
  5. Ms. Lutfiya Rajabova, Pro-Rector of Tajik Technical University for Educational Work;
  6. Mr. Olimjon Safarov, deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon;
  7. Amrikhudo Damdor, First Deputy Governor of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO);
  8. Ms. Dilrabo Mansourova, Director of Tajik Technical University’s Branch in Khujand, Sughd Province;
  9. Mr. Dilshod Ismatulloyev, deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon;

10.   Mr. Abdurahim Kholiqzoda, Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan;

11.   Ms. Gulbahor Ashourova, Director of the Reproductive Health Center;

12.   Mr. Sharif Rahimzoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade;

13.   Ms. Nasiba Sodiqova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy, the      Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan;

14.   Mr. Poulod Muhiddinyon, Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources;

15.   Mr. Qiyomiddin Miraliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs;

16.   Mr. Orif hakimov, Head of the Agriculture Department, Shahritous District in Khatlon Province;

17.   Mr. Mirali Dostiyev, Director of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sidriddin Ayni;

18.   Mr. Qanoatsho Loiqov, Adviser, Information Security Department, Security Council;

19.   Ms. Rajabmo Badriddinova, Head of Department, Ombudsman’s Office in Tajikistan;

20.   Mr. Isomiddin Uroqov, Head of the Economy and Finance Department, Dushanbe Mayor’s Office;

21.   Ms. Jamila Saidova, Deputy Minister of Agriculture;  

22.   Ms. Firouza Sharifi, Head of the Department for Women’s Affairs, Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic party;  

23.   Mr. Yusuf Majidi, Deputy Head of the Reform and Strategy Planning Department, President’s Executive Office;

24.   Mr. Husein Nidoyev, Head of the Panj Chairperson’s Office, Panj District in Khatlon Province;

25.   Ms. Jamila Rahmonova, Pro-Rector of Tajik State University for Educational Work;
