notes that the Muslim Brotherhood has donated an apartment in Cairo to Saidumar Husaini, first deputy head of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRP).

Muhammadaziz Saidnazarov says in his letter that the Muslim Brotherhood donated a three-room apartment to Saidumar Husaini in May 2010.

According to him, Husaini’s sons – Abdullo Umari and Tohir Hisaynov (both of them are students at Al-Azhar University) – now live in that apartment.

The apartment is reportedly located in a prestigious area of Cairo – 21 Hafez Badawi Street, 7th District.   

“Husaini’s sons have repeatedly boasted that this apartment was donated to their father by the Muslim Brotherhood,” Saidnazarov noted in his letter.

He says that according to Tohir Hisaynov, Saidumar Husaini was supposed to arrive in Cairo on October 16 via Almaty but he was detained by Tajik security officers at the Dushanbe airport.       

We will recall that Saidumar Husaini was arrested together with 12 other leading members of the IRP on September 16 on suspicion of being directly involved into the mutiny”s masterminding.  The detained party officials face charges of terrorism, inciting religious and racial enmity, and attempting to seize power by force
