President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a government meeting on August 28 in the afternoon. The meeting discussed amendments to a number of existing laws, including "On the status of the capital".
At the beginning of the meeting of the government, was heard the report of the Mayor of Tursunzade about the implementation of the Constitutional Law "On local government bodies" and the law "On self-government bodies of settlements and villages", – the press service of the president reports.
Emomali Rahmon gave several instructions to the leadership of Tursunzade to fully implement the existing laws, expand the process of creative work, re-seed, harvest, timely solve the problems of the people and other topical issues.
At the meeting, draft laws of the country were considered and proposed for consideration to the lower house of parliament, including the draft law "On the status of the capital" in the new edition, amendments to the Law "On Advertising", the Law "On Insurance Activities", the Law "On Credit Histories" and the Law "On the Status of Servicemen".
The current law of Tajikistan "On the status of the capital" was adopted in December 2009.
At the end of the meeting Emomali Rahmon gave specific instructions to the members of the government, heads of ministries and departments, state organizations and institutions to ensure the implementation of the existing laws, decrees and orders of the government, expanding creative work, re-seeding, comprehensive preparation for the start of the new school year and the holiday of 26 years of independence of the republic.
