Rescuers of the Emergency Situations Department in the Sughd region managed to save a 17-year-old girl who wanted to commit suicide.
A resident of Choirukdaron village of Guliston city wanted to jump from a bridge in Khujand city into the Syrdarya river.
«Rescuers pulled her out of the water, brought her to the shore, provided the appropriate necessary assistance», – said in Emergency Committee.
According to the source, she refused hospitalization.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the reasons why the girl wanted to commit suicide.
