DUSHANBE, March 27, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon presided over a working meeting with participation of senior representatives from president’s executive office and heads of a number of ministries and organizations on March 26.  

According to presidential press service, the meeting discussed the implementation of president’s instructions that had been given during his meeting with representatives of Tajik intelligentsia.  

The head of state charged to project and realize a plan of actions on the implementation of his instructions and proposals of intelligentsia as well as regulation of holding national traditional rituals and ceremonies and naming Dushanbe Central Park after Abuabdullo Rudaki, Tajik State Pedagogical University after Sadriddin Ayni, and Tajik State Philharmonic Society after Akasharif Jurayev.  He also charged relevant bodies to consider the issue of documenting names of newborns according to the rules of the Tajik language.     

 The president demanded at the meeting that holding of ceremonies such as “last school bell” and “ABC holiday” should be banned and pupils should be prohibited from coming to school on their personal cars, presidential press service said.  

Emomali Rahmon also gave commissions to properly organize sowing campaign and increase number of shops for selling liquefied gas and coal in the cities and districts of the country.
