By president’s order a coronavirus prevention commission has been set up in Tajikistan. The commission is led by Deputy Prime Minister, Azim Ibrohim.
A source within the government says the commission members include senior representatives of the ministries of health, agriculture, education, labor, foreign affairs as well as committees on TV and radio broadcasting, emergencies, tourism development and youth. Senior representatives of the country’s air companies and the state railway company are also members of this commission.
All decisions and recommendations of the commission are binding in the territory of the country.
“By commission’s order sanitary, quarantine and migration control has been toughened at all border crossing points (BCPs) and thermal scans have been installed at all BCPs,” the source added.
