Limited Liability Company (LLC) Micro Credit Deposit Organization (MDO) Dushanbe City jointly with Union Pay offers a unique proposal for transferring money to China.  Remittances are made to all UnionPay International cards, regardless of the country of issue.

For the first time, each resident of Tajikistan may transfer money to any card of UnionPay International, including cards issued in China, without a commission.  The minimum amount of remittance is 600.00 somonis. 

LLC MDO Dushanbe City notes that this service will be convenient for everyone who is engaged in business, in particular for those who make purchases shop on Chinese sites of Alibaba, Aliexpress, TinyDeal, Taobao, 1688, Tmall and others.

Each of them reportedly has a choice of transferring money directly to cards of sellers of goods.  This simplifies the purchasing process, while no fee commission makes this service even more attractive for residents of Tajikistan, according to LLC MDO Dushanbe City.  

The service of transferring money to Union Pay and Money express cards is reportedly available to all customers of Dushanbe City in the electronic wallet DC NEXT.  

LLC MDO Dushanbe City operates on the basis of a license granted to it by the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).  One of directions of Dushanbe City’s activities is transfer of money to a card; It has its own card processing and facilitates development of non-cash payment in the country.  LLC MDO Dushanbe City has been registered under the brand of Express Pay.  It has its own network of terminals, ATMs and POS-terminals. 

Established in November 2012, UnionPay International (UPI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of China UnionPay.  UPI is a bankcard association established under the approval of the State Council and the People's Bank of China, and has become a central and pivotal part of China's bankcard industry.  UnionPay International has enabled card acceptance in 180 countries and regions with issuance in more than 70 countries and regions.  UnionPay International provides high quality, cost effective and secure cross-border payment services to the world's largest cardholder base and ensures convenient local services to a growing number of global UnionPay cardholders and merchants.

UnionPay, also known as China UnionPay, is a Chinese financial services corporation headquartered in Shanghai, China.

It provides bank card services and a major card scheme in mainland China.  Founded on March 26, 2002, China UnionPay is an association for China's banking card industry, operating under the approval of the People's Bank of China (PBOC, central bank of China).  It is also an electronic funds transfer at point of sale (EFTPOS) network, and the only interbank network in China that links all the automatic teller machine (ATMs) of all banks throughout the country.  UnionPay cards can be used in 180 countries and regions around the world.

In 2015 the UnionPay overtook Visa and Mastercard in total value of payments made by customers and became the largest card payment processing organization (debit and credit cards combined) in the world surpassing the two.  However, only 0.5% of this payment volume was outside of China.
