DUSHANBE, January 19, 2009, Asia-Plus  — By president’s decrees of January 16 heads of a number of cities and districts in Gorno Badakhshan as well as Khatlon and Sughd provinces were replaced.

Shodikhon Jamshedov, formerly head of the GBAO health directorate, was appointed as head of GBAO’s Shugnan district, replacing Shamsiddin Ourmbekov, was appointed as deputy governor of Gorno Badakhshan.  Head of GBAO’s Rushan district Khoushqadam Savzqadamov was dismissed with connection with transfer to other job.  He was replaced by Ms. Qobilamo Ghulomshoyeva.  Ms. Paykaramo Aliyorova was relieved of her post of head of GBAO’s Roghtqala district in connection with transfer to other job.  She was replaced by Amonsho Navrouzshoyev.

In the Sughd province, mayors of the cities of Khujand and Qairoqqum as well as heads of Ayni, Bobojonghafurov and Spitamen district were replaced.  Rajabboy Karimov was appointed as mayor of Qairoqqum, replacing Sodiq Mirkhliqov.  Sodiq Mirkholiqov was appointed as mayor of Khujand replacing Muhammadjon Mahmadjonov.  Rustam Rahmatov, formerly deputy Dushanbe mayor, was appointed as head of the Ayni district, replacing Shodiqul Bobojonov, who was dismissed in connection with transfer to other job.  Bobojonghafurov head Abduzafar Inomov was replaced by Lutfullo Muhiddinov and Spitamen head Rahbaroy Jamolova was replaced by Ahamdjon Qobilov.

In Khatlon, heads of Vose, Bokhtar, Qubodiyon, Vakhsh and Jilikul districts were dismissed in connection with transfer to other jobs.  Sulton Valiyev, formerly deputy agriculture minister, was appointed as head of Vose replacing Alimurod Taghoymurodov, who appointed as deputy governor of Khatlon, replacing Mizrob Gulmatov.  Abdulmumin Ulfatov, formerly head of the Bokhtar district, was appointed to head the Qubodiyon district, replacing Mahmadrahim Ismoilov.  Mahmadrahim Ismoilov was appointed as head of the Jilikul district, replacing Eshbouri Esanqulov.  Shodi Mousoyev was appointed as head of the Vakhsh district, replacing Aloviddin Sattorov.

Besides, Hikoyatmo Hakimova and Mirzosafar Nazriyev were appointed as deputy governors of the Khatlon province.
