KHUJAND, September 2, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Ms. Bimavzouna Shukurova from Sughd’s Bobojonghafurov district faces charges of using fake diploma for working with high school, according to press service of the Sughd police directorate. 

A 32-year-old Bimavzouna Shukurova used fake diploma of Khujand State University for working with school # 5 in the Kistakuz jamoat, Bobojonghafurov district.  She worked with the school from September 2007 to January 2008, a spokesman at the Sughd police directorate said.  

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Shukurova under the provisions of Article 340, Part 2 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – forgery, and an investigation is under way.
