KHUJAND, November 24, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Khujand open joint-stock company Torgmash has increased trade-technological equipment shipments to the CIS states, the enterprise director general Muzaffar Jumayev said.

According to him, Torgmash produces copper, frying pans, stoves, washing baths for cafeterias and restaurants as well as various racks and tables from stainless steel.

“Over the first ten months of this year, the enterprise has produced a total of more than 3 million somoni worth of output and 52 percent of output has been exported,” said Jumayev, “Over the am period of 2007, we had produced 2.3 million somoni worth of output; compared to January-October 2007 export has increased by up to 76 percent.”

The Torgmash’s products are supplied to seven companies in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
