DUSHANBE, March 27, Asia-Plus  — Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Austrian President Heinz Fischer have exchanged messages of congratulations on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the established of diplomatic relations between their countries, Tajik president’s official website reports.

In his message, President Rahmon, in particular, expressed confidence that bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Austria would expand in the future as well.

A message by President Heinz Fischer notes that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Austria and Tajikistan has opened a new era in history of relations between the two countries, the source said.

Austrian president expressed confidence that friendly contacts between the leaders of the countries would promote further development of friendly relations between Austria and Tajikistan.
