DUSHANBE, June 22, 2013, Asia-Plus – An Ukrainian delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Culture, Viktor Bolyurko, will arrive in Dushanbe on June 23 for participation in Days of Culture of Ukraine in Tajikistan.
An official source at the Ministry of Culture (MoC) of Tajikistan says the Ukrainian delegation members include artistes if the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine, “Drevlyane” Ensemble, known Ukrainian actress Yelena Proskuryako, etc.
“On June 24, Viktor Bolyurko is expected to meet with Tajik Minister of Culture Mirzoshorukh Asrori and an official opening of Days of Culture of Ukraine in Tajikistan will be held at Dushaneb’s Opera and Ballet Theater in the evening of the same day,” the source said.
On June 25, Ukrainian guests will visit the National Museum of Tajikistan, the National Public Library and the Norak hydroelectric power plant (HPP).
Two Ukrainian movies, “Za Dvumya Zaytsami” and “V Boy Idut Odni “Stariki” – will be showcased at the Jomi Complex on May 25 and 26.
On June 26, Ukrainian and Tajik artistes will give a joint concert at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Dushanbe, the source aid.
