Dushanbe. 20 August. “Asia-Plus” – Past Sunday the Tajik state TV channels showed a video recording by a candid camera of Interior Ministry of Tajikistan, which shows facts of sexual harassment by a so called traditional physician (mullah) towards his “patients.”
The head of interior Ministry press office, Mahmadulla Asadullaev, who was the author of the TV story, the recording clearly shows that the 47 year old Asadulla Ibrahimov from Luchab street of Dushanbe, who does non-conventional medicine, is harassing his clients.
Mr. Asadullaev said: “The so-called mullah-physician promised women to rid them of various illnesses through reading Qor”an verses, and then started harassing them.”
According to him, a case has been opened against the pseudo-physician, and the investigation continues.
